The Jets were a pop group from the Bronx that formed in the early 1980s. They originally called themselves The Shadows before changing their name. The group consisted of three brothers, Elmer, Troy, and Jeffrey Hudson, along with their cousin Freddie Washington.
Their debut single "Crush On You" became a Top 5 hit in the United States. Other songs like "Make It Real" and "Will You Be My Girl" also found success.
Their first album was called Portfolio, released in 1983. A second album simply titled The Jets came out in 1985. The group disbanded not long after that, with the members pursuing solo work.
