a kolem samé zahrady s dědečkem Řípem za zády.
Lodička pluje po vodě v tichoučké mírné pohodě,
a když se k břehu přiblíží zahradu Čech si prohlíží.
Ach to je krásy, to je vůní, obzory dálka opíjí,
vysoké nebe v hloubce tůní, Mělnickým vínem připíjí,
země je štědrá, volně dýchá, barevnou náruč otvírá,
široké Labe nepospíchá a sluncem oči přivírá.
Na lukách tančí motýli, stébla se vánkem nachýlí,
když kdesi v dálce pod strání nákladní vlak si uhání.
Stromy se vždycky po roce sklánějí tíhou ovoce,
když podzim barvy namíchá a rána mlhou zadýchá.
Po řece plují spousty lodí jak po veliké dálnici,
naloží všecko co se hodí a jedou k státní hranici,
hranice řekne račte dále a závora je nahoře
a lodi potom plují stále po velké řece do moře.
Když vracejí se po Labi, sirénou zdraví Polabí,
ty břehy samé zahrady s dědečkem Řípem za zády.
Břehy jim zvolna pokynou laskavou rukou máminou,
a vůní kterou rozdává zahrada Čech jim zamává,
a vůní kterou rozdává zahrada Čech jim zamává.
