Archive material and source history
Jilax came out of London in the early 2000s with a sound that mixed alternative rock and electronic elements. Their debut album 'Aether' arrived in 2005, and the single 'Clouds' got some radio play around that time.
The band had Jake Anderson on vocals and guitar, Sam Carter on bass, Amelia Clarke on keyboards, and Tom Owen handling drums and programming. They worked on songs together, with each member bringing something to the process.
After 'Aether,' they put out 'Elysium' in 2009, 'Aurora' in 2013, and 'Zenith' in 2017. In 2008, there were some plagiarism accusations about one of their tracks, which the band denied.
