Jillian Edwards formed in Nashville around 2008, with vocalist Jillian Edwards, guitarist Greg Alpin, drummer Billy Chapin, and bassist Aaron Newkirk. They put out a debut EP called "Heartstrings" in 2010. Their 2012 album "Paper Castles" reached number one on the Billboard Folk Albums chart.
A song called "Go Together," written by Edwards and Alpin, came out in 2013 and did well on the Adult Contemporary chart. Other tracks in their catalog include "I Go On," "Lean On Me," and "Daydream."
Drummer Billy Chapin left in 2015 and was replaced by Chris Lukich. The band released more albums after that, including one titled "Starlight" in 2015.
