HAPPY HOUR BLUES

He can't remember when he first admitted the truth.

One day he just stopped believin' the dreams of his youth.

Now he goes down to a bar after work every day:

Mmm, at two-for-one prices, he drinks till the pain goes away

She married young thinkin' she'd have a life of her own.

Now she hopes to survive till the kids are all grown.
