Jline formed in South Korea in 2015 as a five-member group. They released their debut EP 'Trust You Anymore' in 2017, which included the title track of the same name. The group's lineup included Choi Jihwan, Kim Jonghyun, Yoon Kyeongho, Lee Sangmin, and Park Sungho.
After their debut, they put out additional music including the EP 'Dreamer' in 2018 and the single 'Starry Night' in 2019. Their second full-length album 'Beyond the Stars' arrived in 2022, followed by the single 'Echo' in 2023.
In 2019, rumors about internal tensions led to a temporary pause in their activities. The group eventually resumed work and continued releasing music through 2023.
