They started playing small venues and bars, building a local following before their 1980 EP "Bom Pra Você, Bom Pra Mim" brought them wider attention. That song became their signature track, along with others like "Eu Agora Vou Voar" and "Onde Foi Que Eu Errei."
Despite this, their work found listeners beyond Brazil, particularly in Portugal and Portuguese-speaking African countries.
The duo released several albums in the early 1980s, including their self-titled 1981 album and 1983's "Pra Sempre." They separated in the late 1980s, with João Castro pursuing solo work and Leonel Moura continuing as a composer and producer for other artists.
