In 2002, Juninho was arrested on drug trafficking charges, which put a strain on the duo's career. João Paulo publicly supported him, and the charges were eventually dropped. They kept recording through it all, putting out studio albums like the one with 'Saudade da Minha Terra' and 'Amo Você.'
Their catalog includes songs like 'Bem Aos Olhos da Lua' and the medley 'Boate Azul/Sublime Renuncia,' which have stayed in rotation on Brazilian radio. They recorded over a dozen albums together before their partnership ended.
