In 2016, his version of the song "Xaxim" went viral on YouTube. It was a mournful ballad about unrequited love, and people responded to the raw feeling in his voice. That attention led to his first album, Só Pra Você, in 2017.
He works with a band that includes Zé Roberto on guitar, Carlos Henrique on bass, and Daniel Santos on drums. They've put out more albums since, like Sonhos e Saudades in 2019 and Para Sempre in 2022.
