John Tesh was born in Garden City, New York in 1952 and studied piano and composition at the Eastman School of Music. In the 1980s, he worked as a sports commentator for CBS and composed theme music for the Olympics in 1988.
He's released over 20 albums since then, with songs like 'One More Night' and 'Another Day in Paradise' appearing in his catalog.
Tesh's music has been used in weddings and graduations, and in 2015 he was diagnosed with prostate cancer.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
