In 2016, the band released 'Comando Vermelho,' a song that references a local drug faction. Despite the backlash, it gained traction in Rio's communities. Jojo faced legal issues in 2018 related to the song, though charges were eventually dropped.
The group continued releasing music, including the album 'O Mundo É Nosso' in 2019. Their lineup has included percussionist Naldo alongside the core members.
