I don’t know

Very much about the technical stuff

But I often find

That singing is quite enough

To sooth the darkness

That lives in all men’s hearts

To simplify a world

That’s living in the state of the art

I have many little things

Many little things that I don’t need

But I’ll never give them away

For they were given to me

So I’m stuck in a pickle jar

Floating down the M62

And the smell reminds me

Of a friend I once knew

I’d invite you

To incite me

And to speak first

But you are quick to speak

So I’m slow to listen to you curse

We shall labour for

A greater esteem

And in some little measure

We may draw some belief
