His debut album was called "Canções de Suzano," and it included the song "Hino a Suzano," which became something of an anthem for his hometown. He worked with musicians like guitarists Paulo César Barros and Fernando Costa, bassist Nico Assumpção, and keyboardist Luiz Carlos Maltez.
