Josh Kelley was born in Augusta, Georgia, in 1980. He moved to Los Angeles and signed with Hollywood Records in 2001. His self-titled debut album came out in 2003, and its single 'Everybody Wants You' reached the top 20 on the Billboard Hot 100.
His second album, 'Almost Honest', arrived in 2005. After a break, he returned in 2008 with 'Just Say the Word'. He has also co-written songs with artists like Christina Aguilera and Jewel.
Later albums include 'Georgia Clay' from 2011, 'New Lane Road' from 2014, and 'My Name Is Josh Kelley' from 2016. In 2018, he parted ways with his label.
