Jr Soares

Jr Soares came up in Guaíba, a small town in Brazil, where he started singing and writing songs as a teenager. He was drawn to R&B and samba, and he played local clubs with a band of friends before catching the ear of producer Dudu Borges.

Borges helped him record "Pra Você," a soulful ballad that became a hit in Brazil. The song put Soares on the map nationally, and he followed it with more albums that mixed romantic ballads with upbeat dance tracks.
