JTX was a Swedish boy band from Jönköping that formed in the late 1990s. The group had five members: John Lundvik, Tommy Lingren, Tony Olsson, Simon Lindström, and Jeremiah "Jay" Adefuin. They started playing local talent shows before releasing their self-titled debut album in 1999.
That album included "Love In America," which became their biggest hit. The song did well on charts in Europe and North America. They followed it with two more albums, Shout It Out in 2000 and The Way We Are in 2001.
Other songs like "Party Like A Rock Star" and "Summer Lover" showed their pop sound. The band faced some language barriers trying to work in the American market, and there were reports of internal tensions among members during their peak years.
