Juan Erasmo Mochi

Juan Erasmo Mochi is a singer-songwriter from Mexico City. His father was an opera singer, and as a teenager he listened to The Beatles and The Rolling Stones. In the early 2000s he formed a band under his own name.

That band wrote 'Amor Desesperado,' a ballad that became popular in Latin America. The song appeared on his 2003 album of the same name. He later released other albums including Corazón Herido in 2005 and Alma Perdida in 2007.

His career faced some public difficulties, including accusations of plagiarism and talk of substance abuse. He kept making music through it, putting out Renacer in 2010 and an album called Sueños after that.
