Jukebox formed in 2000 with Bogdan Mocanu, Cristian Panait, and Vlad Drăgulin. They put out their first album, '2003,' three years later. That record included 'Auzi Cum Bate,' a track with Bella Santiago that got a lot of attention in Romania.
Their music mixed rock, pop, hip-hop, and electronic sounds. After that first album, they released others like 'Viata Mea' in 2005 and 'Perfecti Pentru Tine' in 2007. In 2009, they put out 'Istoria Mea.'
In 2007, Bogdan Mocanu was part of a drug scandal that got a lot of press. The band stuck together through it. Later, in 2010, their song 'Nu Ma Mai Tai Fara Tine' caused another stir when some people said the lyrics were sexist.
