Júlio Cápria formed his band Júlio Cápria & Os Medusas in the early 2000s with bassist André Pinheiro and drummer Sérgio Pereira. Their debut album 'Mal Secreto' came out in 2004, with the title track becoming particularly well-known in Portugal.
That song 'Mal Secreto' and another called 'Novos Dias' are among his most recognized work. The band released several albums over the following decade, including 'Aqui e Agora' in 2007, 'Na Máscara do Silêncio' in 2010, and 'Em Carne Viva' in 2013.
