Julio Castellanos

Julio Castellanos is a singer and composer whose song 'Te Doy Gracias' became widely known in the mid-1990s. It appeared on his debut album 'Sueños de Esperanza' around 1995. The track's straightforward lyrics about gratitude connected with listeners and helped that first record find an audience.

He released several more albums over the following years, including 'Gracias a Ti' in 1997 and 'Por Siempre' in 2001. His music often drew from traditional Mexican folk sounds and Latin rhythms he'd been around since he was young.
