Junior is Aristides de Oliveira Netto, who sings and plays guitar. Raul is Raul da Silva Pimenta on bass and backing vocals. They started out playing small venues and street corners around São Paulo.
In 2014, they faced some criticism for language in one of their songs and later apologized. Their music tends to focus on ordinary urban experiences.
