Der Teufel hat den Schnaps gemacht
um uns zu verderben.
Ich hör' schon wie der Teufel lacht,
wenn wir am Schnaps einmal sterben.
Sie war so fromm, sie war so lieb
und sie gefiel mir gut.
Und freundlich hab' ich ihr erklärt
daß mir der Schnaps nichts tut.
Schon leerte ich das nächste Glas,
