Just Say Go! formed in London in 2007, a four-piece rock band led by frontman Jamie 'JD' Dawson. Their debut album 'Ignite the Night' came out in 2009 and included 'Break Down,' which got regular radio play and helped build their audience. The song 'By My Side' also appeared among their early material.
In 2011, drummer Luke 'Lozza' Matthews died in a car accident. The band kept working after that, putting out albums like 'Rise Above' in 2012 and 'Unleash the Fury' in 2015. They had other songs like 'Deep Thrills' and 'Dying Inside' in their catalog.
By 2018 they'd released 'Renegade Hearts,' their most recent album mentioned here. Their music drew from hard rock and punk, with lyrics often about getting through tough situations. They never became a household name, but they built a following that stuck with them through lineup changes and the usual industry ups and downs.
