Archive material and source history
K and the Dogs formed in London in the early 2000s with Kerry Leatham on vocals, Dan Bruce on guitar and keyboards, Andrew Wakeman on bass, and James Spencer on drums. They built a following playing clubs before their 2006 single 'Donkey' got attention from Universal Music, which led to their debut album 'The Album' in 2007.
Their music mixed rock and pop with some experimental touches, heard on tracks like 'Selfish Ways' and 'Tuned To A Different Station.' Dan Bruce left the band in 2011, but they kept going, putting out albums called '2' in 2010, 'III' in 2014, and 'IV' in 2018.
Some of their other songs include 'End Of An Era,' 'Here It Is,' and 'London Bridge.' The lineup settled with Leatham, Wakeman, and Spencer continuing to work together.
