A São Paulo group that mixes rock, pop, and Brazilian rhythms across albums like 'Mundo Paralelo' and 'Feito Pra Durar'.
For a sense of their sound, 'Alguém Igual A Você' and 'Molhada' frame it well. They're both from that early period but show different sides of what the band does.
The band's 2006 debut 'Mundo Paralelo' introduced their sound with the lead single 'Alguém Igual A Você (Someone Like You)', which became one of their better-known tracks. They've kept that rock-pop foundation while working Brazilian rhythms into songs like 'Molhada' and 'Ritual'. Their catalog also includes covers of 'Killing Me Softly' and 'Something', showing a range that goes beyond straightforward rock.
Kacau Gomes formed his band in 2004, and 'Mundo Paralelo' arrived in 2006. Later albums like 'Feito Pra Durar' (2008), 'Quintal' (2011), and 'Mundo Invisível' (2014) followed that first release. The lineup has included Gomes on vocals and guitar, Daniel de Almeida on bass, and Bruno Passos on drums.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
