Kainos

Kainos formed in the early 2000s with Ethan James on vocals and David Hayes on guitar, later adding Trevor Scott on bass and Marcus Green on drums. Their debut album 'The Awakening' came out in 2003 and included the song 'Alive,' which became their most recognizable track.

After that first album, they put out 'Reflections' and then 'Redemption,' each showing some shift in their approach. Their songs like 'Center of My Everything' and 'Fade' kept to a straightforward pop-rock sound that worked for radio.

They had a fairly standard band setup for that era, with James handling most of the writing and Hayes providing guitar work. The group managed to release a steady stream of material through the 2000s without becoming a major commercial force.
