The Cruelty of Love

Life has dealt

And i am destined to stay, in love

Time creeps by

And every moment feels, too much

I realised

That i could not live, without you

Possessed by passion, alone could not explain

My actions

We are one

And everything you feel, i feel too

And when you break

A little piece of me, suffers with you

We need each other

We are victims of each others cruel and tender hands

Every touch, more precious than the last

But every silence, more empty than i can stand

I could get out

But where would i be?

Free but alone

Do i suffer to keep you happy?

Or do you suffer without me, so that i will not see your tears

And you will not see my face

And you will remove yourself from this world

I would feel wasted

Empty, guilty, i cannot win

I am destined to spend my life within

These walls of love that i live in

Is this how i pay for my sins?

'cruelty spares no one

You chose this path

You wandered carelessly down it (i should of run)

Now you suffer the consequences (while i still had the chance)
