Throughout history we have witnessed struggles for power end in bloodshed.

From war to religious persecution,

the thread of inequality is sewn deeply and remains the common link.

Power is blood-lust,

inequality breeds hate.

If only humanity could unite;

struggle not for power,

but for peace,

love,

and freedom...

580 B.C.

our time-line begins- the stage has been set,

class separation sets in.

The religious elite,

appointed by god,

born into power- religious fraud.

Xenophanes refuses to worship their idols- he sees humans being herded like cattle.

Such sickening oppression was suffered by the masses,

look how long this farce has lasted!

No gods and no masters can keep us oppressed- freedom's within us don't keep it suppressed.

No gods and no masters can keep us oppressed- freedom's within us,

put yourself to the test!

Meanwhile in Egypt,

theology takes hold.

As slavery was bought,

freedom was sold.Their religious stranglehold tightly clenched- staying passive and docile leads to eternal bliss.

For every oppressor who fights for power,

there's another freedom fighter unwilling to cower.

Despite being threatened by ruling class violence,

these people persisted with minds that were active.

Can we use examples- by thoughts and by deeds- to counteract the history that continually repeats?

From war and oppression to our (present) capitalist machine- why haven't we seen that we need to struggle for peace?

No rulers of nations can keep us down,

no borders can keep us from freedom's crown.

No capital or property- bought or sold- can keep us from creating a new world in the shell of the old!

Set an example - use your mind - create your own world - in this crumbling mold.
