Kaky

Kaky is a French alternative band formed around Marie-Claire Cremers on vocals and guitar and Christophe Minck on drums. Their debut album came out in 1997 and included the track "La Tête Pleine," which became their most recognizable song. They released four more albums over the next two decades, with 1999's Le Rayon Vert, 2003's L'Acte, 2009's À l'Écart, and 2016's Le Silence.

Their music tends toward the introspective, with "La Tête Pleine" serving as a clear example of that mood. The band's sound has shifted across their records, moving between more experimental approaches and a return to minimalist arrangements. They built a dedicated following without much mainstream attention.

Kaky's work is often described as ethereal and evocative, anchored by Cremers's songwriting.
