Kamichama Karin formed in 2000 with Karin Tsukizawa on vocals, Masashi Hamauzu on keyboards, Yoko Kanno handling arrangements, and Tetsuya Takahashi on drums. Their first album came out in 2003, followed by 'Anemone' the next year, which included the track of the same name.
Tsukizawa took a break in 2005 due to health problems, which delayed some of the band's plans. Their music sometimes drew criticism for being too experimental or unconventional for some listeners.
Songs like 'Ankoku Tengoku' and 'Hikari no Accord' round out their catalog alongside 'Anemone.'
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
