That track, along with others like "Chinelas" and "Director's Cut," helped establish their presence with a raw, energetic rock sound.
They followed up with albums like "Amazing" in 2005 and "Long Time Ago" in 2008, showing some range from harder rock to acoustic material. In 2011, Linao left and was replaced by Reuben Laurente on bass.
Kamikazee kept recording through the 2010s, putting out "Vulnerable" in 2013 and later experimenting with pop and electronic touches on 2018's "Blitz." Their catalog includes songs like "Ambisyoso" and "Doobi-do," which have stayed in rotation on Philippine rock playlists.
