Kankick

Kankick is a duo made up of Marky and Ariel, working in electronic music since the early 2000s. Their debut album 'Just Methods' came out in 2004, and the title track became a point of reference for their sound. They've put out a handful of albums since, like 'The Clarion Call' in 2007, 'Surge' in 2012, and 'Novae' in 2018.

Marky handles production and programming, while Ariel provides vocals and lyrics. Their music has drawn polarized reactions at times, partly due to its experimental nature and partly because of some provocative material.

They've worked with other artists, including techno producer Moritz von Oswald and vocalist Fennesz. The band has kept a fairly low profile publicly, letting the records and occasional live shows speak for themselves.
