They built a following with an experimental electronic sound that mixed industrial and ambient elements. In 2003, their album '1mielipide' broke through, with the title track becoming a dance hit in Finland.
Their performances sometimes involved nudity and provocative imagery, which drew criticism. The band also had conflicts with record labels and promoters over their refusal to follow industry norms. Despite this, they kept releasing albums like '22hahmot' in 2006 and '4taajuutta' in 2011.
