A trio from Brazil blending samba and bossa nova with themes of love and social awareness.
For a good sense of their range, try 'Eternamente' for the breezy duet side, then 'Para Donde Vamos?' for something with a bit more weight.
They've built a catalog that moves between Brazilian roots and contemporary concerns. 'Eternamente,' their duet with Armandinho, shows their melodic warmth, while songs like 'Igualdade' and 'Para Donde Vamos?' lean into social questions. It's music that feels grounded in place but speaks to wider feelings.
Childhood friends Leo Reis and Fabio Aposan started working together in Brazil, adding percussionist Juliano Ferreira in 2004 to form the trio. Their first album, 'Músicas para Cantar e Dançar,' arrived in 2008, followed by 'Pra Sempre' in 2011 and 'Nação Kara N Daya' in 2014. Drummer Lucas França replaced Ferreira in 2015, and they've kept recording and performing since.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
