Songs like 'Simple Kind Of Lovely' and 'Everyday People' are the blueprint, full of the melodic hooks and clean production that would eventually become a signature. It's the starting point for one of the biggest bands of the 2000s.
They formed in Los Angeles in the mid-1990s, releasing an EP and the album 'The Fourth World' in 1997 and 1998. After that album didn't connect, the band called it quits in 1999. A few years later, most of the members regrouped with a new guitarist and became Maroon 5.
