Karla DÍbia is a Brazilian singer-songwriter who released her debut album 'Água e Vinho' in 1993. The title track from that album became one of her most recognizable songs, along with others like 'Folhas do Meu Jardim' and 'Depois de Lá'.
Her music often explores themes that challenged some conventions in Brazilian society at the time. She worked with musicians including Paulo César on bass, João Vianna on drums, and Marcos Suzano on keyboards and accordion.
Later albums like 'Amor Estranho' in 1996 and 'Mundo Novo' in 2000 continued her output, followed by 'Peixe' in 2005, 'Sertão' in 2010, and 'Afrocidade' in 2015.
