Their 2008 single "Amizade de Verdade" became a breakout hit, its straightforward lyrics about friendship connecting with listeners across Brazil.
After that song's success, the group toured and released several albums, including O Melhor do Axé in 2010 and Vai Malandro in 2013. Edil Pacheco left the band in 2010, leaving Silva and Lucas to continue as a duo. In 2013, they faced plagiarism allegations related to "Vai Malandro," though the case was eventually dismissed.
They kept recording through the decade, putting out A Festa Continua in 2015 and No Ritmo do Amor in 2018.
