Kazzama formed in 2014 as a trio with Lucas Silveira on vocals and rhythm guitar, Duda Machado on lead guitar, and Bruno Knust on drums. They released their first album 'Nada Mais, Nada Menos' the following year.
Their 2017 album 'Destino da Gente' gave them their signature song of the same name. The track became popular across Brazil, though the band's blend of Brazilian rhythms with rock and pop elements drew some criticism at the time.
They kept releasing albums every couple of years, putting out 'Aurora' in 2019 and 'Nosso Lugar' in 2021.
