Keegan formed in Los Angeles in 2012 with Ethan Winters on vocals and guitar, Jake Oliver on bass, and Max Carter on drums. They started playing shows locally and eventually signed with the independent label Silver Sound. Their debut album 'Echoes of the Unresolved' came out in 2015, followed by 'The Weight of Shadows' and 'Ascension' in 2020.
Their songs include 'More Of You,' 'Hearts Beat Loud,' 'Say La La,' and 'Tired Of Love.' In 2017, Winters entered rehab for substance abuse, which led to some canceled tour dates. The next year, there were plagiarism accusations around their song 'Ambivalence,' though they were later cleared.
They kept making music through those years. The 2020 album 'Ascension' got positive reviews. The band's lineup has stayed the same since they started.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
