Kein

Kein was a German music collective that formed in 1993. The group included Sergej Gladkow on vocals and lyrics, Wolfgang Fiedler on bass and electronics, Mario Schober on guitar, and Dirk Stauber on drums. They worked with experimental rock and ambient sounds, often around political themes.

Their song "A Drug Against War" drew attention for its direct criticism of military systems. Other tracks like "A Hole In The Wall" and "Achtung!" appeared on their albums, which included Rivers of War in 1996 and Peace Music in 2002. The music wasn't designed for broad radio play, but it found listeners who responded to its tone.

Kein's recordings sometimes faced pushback for their content, but the group kept making music through the 1990s and into the 2000s. They released The Third World in 2005. Their work has been referenced in some academic and political contexts since then, though the collective itself hasn't been visibly active in recent years.
