Keith Urban was born in Whangarei, New Zealand in 1967. He started playing guitar as a child and moved to Australia when he was 15, where he joined a band called The Ranch. His first solo album came out in 1991, simply titled 'Keith Urban.'
He's released about a dozen studio albums since then, including 'Golden Road' in 2002 and 'Ripcord' in 2016. Some of his songs that people know include 'Parallel Line,' 'Somewhere In My Car,' and 'The Fighter' with Carrie Underwood.
Urban performs with a band called the Urban Revolution. The lineup includes Dan Dugmore on guitar, Jerry Flowers on bass, Chris Flannery on drums, and Jedd Hughes on keyboards.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
