Archive material and source history
Kendy is a Brazilian band with three members: Bruna Caram on vocals, Rodrigo Cavaca on guitar, and Charles Gavin on drums. They put out their first album in 2003, which mixed folk, pop, and electronic sounds. A few years later, their song 'Meu Mundo' from the 2009 album of the same name got them wider attention. Their music tends toward the introspective, with Caram's voice often described as crystalline over Cavaca's rhythmic guitar and Gavin's dynamic drumming.
After 'Meu Mundo', they released 'Trilhas' in 2012, which took a more experimental turn and included some collaborations. Their 2015 album was called 'Vidas Paralelas'. The band's sound has shifted across these records, from the straightforward blend of their debut to the ethereal quality of 'Esperanza' in 2006 and the later, less conventional work.
