Kharlotte Well is an indie folk band from Manchester, England, formed in 2014 by singer-songwriter Charlotte Wrigley and multi-instrumentalist David Wheeler. They put out their debut EP, 'The Last Bloom,' in 2017. The following year, their single 'Nuvem' became their breakout track, a ballad about losing someone.
Their albums 'Seven Waves' from 2019 and 'Moonlight' from 2022 continued in a similar vein, though they began working with some baroque pop and experimental folk textures. The band's lineup includes drummer Adam Rowley alongside Wrigley and Wheeler.
In 2020, Charlotte Wrigley was diagnosed with a neurological condition that affected her vocal cords.
