King Badger formed in 2010 with Adrian Permana on vocals and guitar, Randhika Djamil on bass, and Israr Syahbana on drums. They're an Indonesian alternative rock band that started playing local gigs while working through the usual early struggles.
Their 2016 debut album 'Familia' got some attention, and the single 'Miloves (Otw Sayo)' became their breakout track. It landed on Indonesian charts and gave them a wider audience.
They've put out a few more albums since then, including 'Dari Nada Nona' in 2018, 'Padi' in 2020, and 'I Love You, Dude' in 2022. The band kept playing shows and recording through some public friction around 2018, when Adrian Permana was involved in an altercation that drew some unwanted attention.
