Archive material and source history

Kinrick formed in 2004 around vocalist Aidan Hawthorne and guitarist Ethan Blackwood. Their debut album 'Fortress of Steel' came out in 2006, and they spent those early years touring heavily. In 2007, bassist Marcus Ryker died from an illness, and Raven Blackwood joined the band as his replacement.

Their song 'Call of Honor' became something of an anthem for their listeners. Other tracks like 'Dressed Up As God' and 'Make Me A Man' are part of their catalog. They released albums roughly every three years, including 'Blood of the Ancients' in 2009 and 'The Call of Honor' in 2012.

In 2010, some critics accused the band's lyrics of promoting violence. Kinrick responded that their music was about honor, not aggression. They kept touring into their second decade, with albums like 'Ashes of the Fallen' in 2015 and 'Legacy of Iron' in 2019.
