Kite is a Dutch quartet that started in 2006 with Joeri on vocals and guitar, Sjoerd on guitar, Tim on bass, and Niels on drums. Their self-titled debut album came out in 2007, and the single "Dance Again" got some attention in the Netherlands.
In 2013, Niels left the band and was replaced by Joost on drums. They kept recording, putting out albums like "Burned" in 2014 and "The Way to a Man's Heart" in 2017. Their songs include "Demons & Shame," "Johnny Boy," and "Slow Chemical."
They released "Electricity" in 2020, bringing their studio album count to five. The band's lineup has stayed consistent since Joost joined, with Joeri handling most of the songwriting.
