Dear dad I wanted to take time and write you

Cuz lately we don't talk like we used to

See I was thinking about the things we've been through

I wanted to say right now I really miss you

You used to tell me when I was a little dude

That there was nothing that we couldn't get through

So as I'm older I want to take time and thank you

And let you know every day I try and pray for you
