Their music was a mix of punk, noise, and experimental rock, with songs like 'What Have You Done?' showing their abrasive, confrontational style. Black's lyrics often dealt with dark subjects, and their live shows were known for being intense. In 2005, they were arrested after a performance in Chicago that was described as a 'noise riot,' which brought some attention to local noise ordinances.
