Knock Out

Knock Out formed in Zaragoza, Spain in the mid-1990s with Juanma Cifuentes on vocals and guitar, Kike Fuentes on guitar and vocals, Lino Prieto on bass, and Juan Pedro Gutiérrez on drums. Their 1996 single 'Atlantida' became a national hit, pulling together alternative rock, punk, and flamenco touches into something that connected with younger listeners.

They followed with albums like Esperanza in 1998, Entre dos orillas in 2000, and La mirada del extraño in 2002. Songs like 'Bolje Vrijeme Za Nas Nemirne' and 'Dani prolaze' kept their guitar-driven sound at the center, though their lyrics sometimes drew criticism from conservative groups who found them too aggressive.

Over time the lineup shifted, and their music began to absorb other influences like reggae and electronic elements. They kept touring, and their live shows stayed energetic. Beyond music, they've been involved in social activism around environmental and human rights issues.
