Knoc'turnal formed in London in 2007 with vocalist Lucinda Shaw, guitarist Charlie McDonnell, bassist Tom Dawkins, and drummer Joe Joyce. They built a following through live shows before their single 'Muzik' gained attention in 2009.
After 'Muzik' found an audience, the band saw lineup changes in 2012 when Joyce and Dawkins left, replaced by drummer Chris Connor and bassist Mark Smith. They continued working with Shaw and McDonnell.
